Cherry Devoy

Jutsu, the U.K.'s brightest body popping star, mesmerising and completely unattainable.  Choregrapher and lead dancer of the Cherry Devoy video.

Bestie Michelle

Long time friend/sufferer/possible half-sister of Kinzoogianna. Jaeq has a crush on her but she's married to Pedro Denchito, the famous photographer and journalist.

Untitled 71.jpeg

Queenie

Queenie, martini drinking wearer of sequins and feathers. Thinks she's Shirley Bassie, the most narcissistic side of Kinzoogianna, as she signs off the album with the theme 'Queenie's in her Queendom' on the jazz standard 'I Love Music'

Jaeq McFaeq

The one, the only, 100% brilliant Jaeq McFaeq. Womanizer (in his mind). Self-proclaimed Producer of Kinzoogianna's music.  Total arsehole but loyal to the end.  Loves Super Tennants and high fashion.

Stubbsy

Kinzoogianna's 16 year old self. Rebellious, sarcastic, mouthy, unpredictable, mod wannabe, electro and house fan. Living in the fast lane and about to witness the amazing cultural changes coming with the 2nd summer of love in 1987. House music will change her life, lighting the fire for her life in music and the 50 plus songs she has written, and the genre boundary breaking with the broken beat movement. Subject of the song 'Back of the Bus' and singer of 'Mind Your Business - Stubbsy's Lament'

Lukey McCarkeys

The Evel Kneivel of Crouch End. Donut Driftin, V8 revving son of Kinzoogianna and Robbin McCarkeys. Happy to steer ginormous Lexus with feet while Mumma does silly stunts and does her back in.

'Inside every jazz musician there's a part of them that thinks people will really enjoy a 7 minute synth solo noodling over pseudo Indian modes. It's my album, I'm going to keep believing that fantasy. I'm a bit posh, I try and cover up the Essex accent, I still have PTSD from being twatted round the head for dropping my 't's and 'h's and mocked by ex-idiots for being 'common'.  I also love anything to do with India, and I will tell anyone who turns their ear to me about studying Indian Classical Music in Leeds with the famous sitarist Dharambir Singh MBE.  I buy fresh curry leaves and eat far too much garlic.'
Springfield, Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai, India
